— Demonstrate commitment to diversity by building a gender balanced team with diversity of ethnic, religious, linguistic and disability backgrounds whilst also ensuring that the most vulnerable and marginalised ethnic, linguist, religious and disabled child and adult community members are included in programming.
— Coordinate Capacity building of the implementing partner through NGO Support departments

Secondary Responsibilities.
— Ensure adherence to policies and implementation plans.
—  Develop monitoring plan in close collaboration with the Programme Manager and ensuring adherence to implementation plans, high quality project management and timely implementation
— Provide technical support to implementing staff in preparation of key documents (for example, detailed implementation plans, log-frames, M&E plans, monthly and quarterly reports)
— Ensure progress and quality of the project in support of positive change for children and that relevant issues are highlighted with NGO’s management and that timely decision-making in carried out to facilitate smooth- running of the projects/ Programmes
— Facilitate Sr.DM&E Officer to develop M&E plans and systems, assist in assessments, Base line surveys and KAPB studies and developing tools for these exercises with a focus on Child Protection and Development.
— Liaise and collaborate with other internal departments to ensure smooth functioning of system.
— Develop Partnership agreements/MOUs with government departments and peer organizations with a focus on Child Development and Child Protection.
— Ensure the information is adequately managed and stored in an appropriate manner
— Ensure that the reports are prepared in line with the requirement and recommended formats, ensuring timeliness by building staff capacity. Reports should include progress indicators on the quality of our program as related to children’s lives.
— Budget management for effective cost-effective utilization

Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes:
— Graduate Degree in social work, social sciences, psychology, or other related subject.

Project Details

Drop in Center is the learning place for children and mothers. Children who are coming to the center belong to impoverished families of the target area UC 8, 9 and 10. We conduct non-formal education in our center and after six months we send mainstream children to the government schools. Children who come to the center live in improper environment therefore we also work with health department for referral mechanism and for health and hygiene campaigns for families.
